This page is public and it holds no files. It is a list of the work in progress, so a member can see what is being looked at and on what data. The documents themselves sit behind the CALL/SIGN login, because some of them contain dispatch addresses.

None of them have been through peer review. None of them carry a journal or a PubMed ID, so none of them should be quoted the way the published work on the research page can be. They are listed here so the work is visible while it is still happening, and for no other reason.

How night call volume distributes across shifts and stations, using the dispatch record the dashboard already shows. Looks at the 2200 to 0600 window against the published sleep literature rather than restating it.

A written record of what the dispatch dataset contains, how it was captured and where it is known to be incomplete. Supporting documentation for the studies above rather than a study in its own right.
Work in progress. No result from any of these studies is stated on this page, and none should be read into the descriptions. A stage says how far along the work is. It does not say what the work found.
Where the files are
The full document list is inside CALL/SIGN, where a member is already signed in. It is not mirrored onto this site, because this site has no login and some of those documents carry the addresses calls were dispatched to.
Parts of the data room are not published to either place. That is a decision, not a backlog.

Raw dispatch extracts and geocoding caches. These contain the street address of individual calls. Aggregated versions of the same data are what the dashboard shows.

Superseded drafts and anything awaiting firefighter review. An older version of a scoring document is indistinguishable from the current one once it is out of the folder it was superseded in.

Grant applications, IRB submissions, draft consent language and partnership paperwork. Business and regulatory records, not studies.

Counts we have run and can stand behind go on the research page, with the source and the denominator stated. Published findings we cite go in the dashboard with the journal and the PubMed ID attached.
